Mr. Carrabba has handled litigation matters in both State and Federal Courts in throughout the State of Texas. Additionally, he has personally tried to verdict over 20 jury trials. Further, Mr. Carrabba has received the highest individual attorney rating of AV from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
Mr. Carrabba served as lead counsel for a commercial construction company against a municipality involving differing site condition claims based on variances in subsurface geotechnical data. The Firm’s client received 100% of requested adjustments at mediation. In addition, Mr. Carrabba has handled a number of matters involving large civil construction projects for municipalities and other governmental agencies. Some of the lawsuits in state and federal court involved the City of Austin, City of Pharr, City of San Antonio, Lower Colorado River Authority, and Metropolitan Transportation Agency, or their projects. Mr. Carrabba has been successful defending claims by subcontractors against his general contractor client and in prosecuting his general contractor clients' claims against subcontractors and owners of large civil construction projects. His experience in commercial construction and business disputes often requires immediate action, including seeking temporary and permanent injunctive relief as needed to protect the assets and property of his clients.
In addition, Mr. Carrabba defends and litigates matters involving home and property owner associations as well as defending financial and lending institutions. Mr. Carrabba’s practice areas also include transaction work as needed for his small business clients.
While in law school, Mr. Carrabba also served as an Intern for the Honorable Bankruptcy Judge Karen Brown, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
